I upgraded from 0.80 to 1.0 OWL.

After that, the umlauts are not displayed correctly.

I wrote: öäü

OWL: ???

The same problem exists when I try to upload an new archive (zip-file) with umlauts.

Is a file with umlauts in the zip, owl does not save the file.

And the Apache2 error log shows the following error:

[Tue Mar 09 12:37:27 2010] [error] [client 1.2.3.4] File does not exist: /var/www/htdocs_owl/undefined, referer: intranet/modify.php?sess=c5eb15718e97076...nt=1&currentdb=0

Our summary:

During we use OWL v0,80 there appeared no problems with umlauts. Our server is correctly configured and works fine. We have 19 owl's (v0.80) running.

After updating a test-owl from 0.80 to 1.0 the problems comming up.

What for modifications in filehandling have you done?

There has been work for supporting UTF8 better. Check the forums for threads that talk about UTF-8 some lines might need to be commented out. As owl attempts to set the SQL connection. To utf-8.
