We started having a problem today with files not uploading. My secretary had to upload 3 files to 3 different directories in owl, the first one acted like it was uploading but didn't, the second uploaded with no problem, the 3rd failed as the first. I've looked through logs and settings and can find nothing that is different between the directories to which these were to be filed. Where do I begin looking for a solution?

I realized there are a couple other facts; she was connected over the internet, but has successfully uploaded many times from the same location, and today one of the files uploaded. From a computer on the local internet I uploaded 2 files to the troublesome directory with no problem. I also logged on using the internet address to try to go out of and come back through the firewall, I also was successful with that upload.

Kind of weird.

Could be related file size?

My guess is that some php.ini setting is set too low. Check the apache error logs fro errors like memory exhausted.

We'll run some more tests later today, I hope, but right now I'm seeing 2 errors a lot:

It might be a size issue after all, the person uploading the file left a zero off of the size when telling me about it (don't rely on the reports of others when troubleshooting), so it may be too big. There's something wrong with the file to be that big, so I'm going to get that fixed first then see if there is still a problem.
